Instructional design as a process

ID can be regarded as a systematic process of developing didactic specifications using didactic theories to ensure a high quality of teaching. This process includes:

  • The analysis phase of learners’ needs and of the training objectives;
  • Stage of development of the teaching system to meet those needs.

ID implies developing of learning resources, types of learners’ activity and elaborating evaluation tools for assessing the effectiveness of the teaching-learning design process.
